On February 23rd 2015 we received a visit from a member of the Department for Education and we were overjoyed with the feedback we received.

“From her observation in classes the DfE representative felt the description and analysis you shared of the school’s development and of pupil’s progress was accurate. She found that pupils were purposefully engaged in their learning and that strong positive relationships were clearly developing between the teaching staff and pupils. Children in all classes could clearly explain what they were learning and in two classes the particular activities on the day of the visit saw pupils bursting with enjoyment and enthusiasm for the work they had undertaken. The representative felt your positive attitude and ability to model high expectations was clearly having a productive impact around the school. She said it was absolutely clear that you were going to take the school to levels it may never have reached before.”

We are sure you will agree that this is an extremely positive outcome, reflecting the hard work and positive attitude of all the staff and pupils here at Langer!
